I can't do the food maths!! Hoping someone else can advise me...

Yesterday at church we had a shared meal and lots of shepherd's pies were made - as in pre-made by people at home, brought in and heated through. BUT there were lots left over and we got given one to bring home - which has been in the fridge since last night. We are sorted for a meal tonight - can someone tell me...will the shepherds pie be OK to leave in the fridge until tomorrow as long as it is thoroughly heated through again?? Or is that pretty dodgy...? Really do not want to waste either the meal that I really must do tonight or the shepherd's pie, but also do not want to poison the whole family....!! Help!

absolutely, it will be fine, I often keep mine for 3 days in the fridge before disposal.

Like u say, make sure its heated THOURGHLY!!

Hmm, well you are not really supposed to reheat things twice. I have done it and been fine though, if you are willing to take that small risk then maybe you could freeze the shepherd's pie, and heat it from frozen another night?

I wouldn't reheat again at all but I am a bit paranoid so feel free to ignore me!
