I can't decide. Kitchen walls are light blue, the cupboards a light brown colour and the worktop black mix.

option 1

option 2

I prefer the first option...more suitable for a kitchen

DreamTeamGirl · 12/05/2010 23:27

I prefer 1 too

SparkyToo · 15/05/2010 15:00

I prefer one too

agedknees · 15/05/2010 17:42

Its 1 for me as well.

I prefer 1 but wouldn't buy either , i would go for a Shabby Chic 2nd hand table. Option 2 is a bit modern and plain.

Hmm option 1. But ikea have nicer sets than that

cruelladepoppins · 15/05/2010 19:44

Depends on how neat and tidy your family are, but Option 2's chairs look a bit more wipe-clean than Option 1!

John Lewis do fab granite ones in sizes and finishes to order. I love mine cos it matches my granite worktops. Not too cheap though but v practical and no mats needed (unlike wooden ones).

I went for option one in the end as it matches the rest of the kitchen. Ds isn't really too bad mess wise but we have chair cushions which could be used on the new ones too.
Fingers crossed it looks good
