my home is drowning under the stuff ive collected over the years .it desperately needs decluttered , but where do i start ?
im sort of lost.
i seem to have aquired loads and duplicate things that are usefull -like bed sheets and curtains, ect
can you help me work out how many duvet-cover sets i actually need? we have 7 beds and a fold away one for when kids have slep overs. at the moment i have around 40 sets

2 sets per bed? So one in the wash and one on the bed. How old are DC's - do they still need beds changed more frequently than weekly?

Personally wouldn't bother with duplicate curtains.

dc`s ages are 16 ds1 , 15 dd2 , 12 dd3, 10 ds2, 8 ds3 , nearly 5 ds4 , nearly 5 dd4 (special needs so needs bed changed a lot as still in nappies that leak a bit).
didnt count dd1 as she doesnt stay over much anymore.....
so that would be 14 sets then? and i can bin the rest.mabey keep 3 sets for dd4 . 15 then
ok .
tea towels?

No more than 8 tea towels, then you can have a clean one every day and launder them once a week.
So go on, how many do you have?

It sounds corny but I'd recommend tackling each room at a time.

34 tea towels . in my defence , its not me who buys them , its the mil , she keeps bringing me presents.
