Help run out of hoover bags!!? Can I do without one?

Okay apart from the obvious messs it will entail - I've got a Sebo hoover that takes bags and I've run out and I'm desperate!!!! My machine won't go bang or puff out loads of dust if I don't use a bag will it?

I don't care about the metying part - I can cope with that but I people coming over tomorrw and dp didn't get to the shop on time - carpet is really in need!!!

Empty the old bag?

I don't think it's very good for the machine to do without one.

Can you re-use the current bag? My last bagged hoover had bags that could be emptied and reused a couple of times. It had basically a big bag clip thing.

If not of this type, could you slit open the bottom of the bag to empty it and then tape it up again using duct tape?

I would be too scared of knackering the hoover by n ott using a bag at all

yes empty the last bag and reuse it.

surely you wouldn't GET a vacuum without the bag?

DP threw the last one out and tore it in the process.

Yes, I was wondering if it wouls vacuum at all without it......
