My DH works outside and gets a bit sweaty to say the least. I wash on a 40 degree wash using persil Bio and lenor fabric conditoner. But when he wears the t-shirts again, after a while you can smell the stale sweat. And he showers every day.
Help!
Anyone got some tips

Leave out the conditioner and put in dettol liquid desinfactant (clear bottles, instructions on back). DH runs competitively, lots of sweat...

I would use a bio powder and wash at 50-60. My dh's shirts get pretty pongy and he works in an office
(Makes mental note about the dettol)

I'd do them on a longer wash at 60.

squirt the under arms with white vinegar

leave for 30mins then was as usual (with bio as you are) and instead of fabric softener put a glug ih white vinegar in that compartment instead

The only thing Ive ever found to work on DH's cycling/running stuff (comepetes in duathlons) is a generous scoop of bicarb of soda/soda crystals in the drawer of the washing machine along with washing powder. Works miracles!!

60 degrees, don't skimp on the powder/tablets, no conditioner, shower daily, anti perspirant, take laundry out of the machine and hang up promptly.

this is supposed to be good.
