How to get sick off a sofa

Small patch - DS2 (15 months) was sick this morning.

Just congealed milk - no bits!

The sofa is a kind of chenille/corduroy fabric (is nicer than it sounds ) and it stinks!

a weak solution of bicarb of soda and water should help - takes away the smell and cleans perfectly.

Be wary of making it too strong as it may fade your sofa - I generally pop a teaspoon into a pyrex jug or warm water and that works fine for me.

Good luck!

I handwashed the covers on ours when ds covered it! I used a wool wash Liquid and did it quite cold. It got it all out and no colour change to sofa

I have just sprinkled bicarb on the affect area, left for a few hours and then hoovered off. Always did the trick on our sofa.
