I made a fabric doll for DS (ok, ok, it's a Waldorf Doll. Disclaimer: I am not an adherent of Waldorf nuttery, I just like the dolls!) which he sort of plays with. Fair dos - my fault for being a trendy parent and thinking my male toddler ought to have a cloth doll.
He's just crayoned in green all over the face, which is cotton knit fabric. I tried ironing through a paper towel and nothing happened (apart from flattening the head a little ). Since this bloody doll represents about a month of my evenings, I'd quite like to get the wax crayon off. Does anyone have any tips with various liquids to remove crayon? I'd heard WD-40 worked but isn't it very greasy?
