Can you just get any one to replace or do I have to try and seek out the precise one? Microwave is about 15 years old. Do want to replace but hadn't planned to just now.

I kept the glass plate when previous microwave broke and it fits perfectly in new(different make and model) microwave.
You could try your local freecycle, see if anyone has a spare they don't need. I can't be the only person who hoards things like this!

My mum broke hers about 2 years ago, after doing some looking she found out they were so expensive she could buy a new microwave! She used an old plate on the rollers and its still going strong.

I did the same and it was about £30 for a new one, so I just use a dinner plate on the rollers. Works fine.
