Recommendations for Dustbusters please

Hi I need to buy a dustbuster to use in the car and around the home - I don't have animals just very messy twins. Can I have some recommendations please. tx

We have a hand held dyson. It has been the best thing I have ever bought to keep the house tidy. Rubber broom laminate floor then use "baby" dyson.Fantastic. And we have 3 children, a dog and 3 indoor guinea pigs!
