Kids back at school and nursery, just off to drop them off then it is my intention to clean this house to within an inch of it's life.
Anyone fancy a motivating thread?
1st job when I get back is the lounge.

lilolilmanchester · 19/04/2010 09:50

lounge done here too, now for the kitchen - which looking at it will probably take the rest of the morning!

boogeek · 19/04/2010 10:03

I need to, too - but I have DD2 here all day (and the baby is feeling uncooperative) so I am going to aim, realistically low and try to strip beds and muck out downstairs.

LoveBeingAMummy · 19/04/2010 10:07

Another one who wanted to say yes but didn't think i'd stick to it I've emptied the dishwasher and re-filled and then hand washed what was left. Pus made flapjacks and fairy cakes.

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 19/04/2010 10:08

Yeah I need to get some stuff done before I have visitors round at 2pm, although it'll be a slow and steady blitz as I'm very pg and quite achy today.

Need to iron clown maternity trousers
Get ds and I dressed
Empty and load dishwasher
Wipe kitchen surfaces
Peg washing out
Put more washing on
Pick up toys
Hoover ground floor
Tidy sofa cushions
Tidy bathroom and wipe loo
Carry folded clothes upstairs
Dust round
Buy biscuits and juice for visitors

So really, all that is left is the floors...washing wil be done when DS1 is at school ...need to vacuum carpets upstairs and couches and I am DONE!!!!

LoveBeingAMummy · 19/04/2010 10:37

lilolilmanchester · 19/04/2010 10:44

kitchen tidied, can't face cleaning the oven, will save that for another day! Need to wash the floor, tidy/dust/vac the hall then start upstairs. I used to be a bit about people posting housework jobs they had to do/had done, but take it all back, it's spurring me on today - thanks all!

ditavionteased · 19/04/2010 10:47

okk bathroom done, stil;l not tidied desk as too over whelming.
need to hang washing out, do pots and tidy desk and then I think I am done.
TISC - go on then off you trot to have a baby, don't let your waters break on your clean floor though.
