Biro marks on leather sofa (lots!)

My three year old says he has had an accident on the leather sofa....there is a biro trail on three cushions, and also the back and the front of the frame (so methinks it was no accident!). Apart from having him adopted , any ideas how to remove...(the stains, not the child!)......? Thanks.

ooh wathching as I have similar problem with my brand new hand bag . Noone is claiming responsibility though

I've had a similar problem in the past too. Our leather sofa is chocolate colour, so was not that noticeable unless you were looking for it.
The mark just faded with time and regular babywiping!

it could be worse - I remember a post where 1 mnetter's dd had drawn a proper mural against the back of one of their leather sofa's!!!

Someone on here gave me a great tip the other day- worked a treat: hairspray.

Apparently WD40 works well too

You can buy a special stain devil for it. I drew all over a new suede jacket while shopping once. The biro wiped off straight away with the stain remover. Lent it to a friend who got biro on a cream leather jacket. Think some of the larger supermarkets will sell them or maybe hardware shop or Boots. Hope it works.
