exciting topic i know, but as i mentioned in the other topic i created (cleaning bathroom whilst kids are bathing), i gave the loo a clean whilst my friend was helping me bath my dd. Anyhow i gave the loo a squirt of my usual domestos. We got talking about it and she reckons that bleach doesn't kill all the nasty germs because it doesn't remove the limescale that they hide under, and that if i wanted to zap all the germs i should i use a cleaner like harpic or toilet duck. Is this true? What do you use in your loo?

I use Harpic 100% limescale remover.

I switched for two weeks to a generic supermarker brand of bleach and the limescale really built up. I live in North London, so I guess it's the water we have in the area.

You will have to let us know if you become a fan .

and dont forget it can be left down the loo for up to an hour.

I use both bleach and Harpic..and a skiddy brush. I have a 2.7 year old the other day he put a free sample tub of talc down the toilet, so although he does't lick it, he will go near it - it is only a matter of time before he perhaps wants to test out the taste.
