Cleaning aluminium surround on shower screen

I'm ok getting the shower screen itself clean, but the metal (I'm assuming it's aluminium) is looking water marked.
What can I use???

Bicarb of soda works with aluminium; mix with a litle water and put on with an old toothbrush then leave for a bit. Should take off mouldy marks clean off and then a tiny bit of babyoil to remove the white marks left by the bicarb.
