How to freshen clothes (underarm) without washing?

I have some tops and dresses that get a bit niffy in underarm area - but am sick of washing them after just one wearing when they don't look dirty just slightly smelly.

Any ideas? Does anyone know a good clothes spray that gets rid of sweat smell?

Maybe rinse that area under the tap and scrub a little with a soap bar? I have been known to febreeze myself if I have forgotten to wash something

TBH you'd be better off getting some Mitchum (excellent antiperspirant) than fannying about trying to get the smell out after the fact.

An expensive version of dress shields
(and more of the same)
Another option.

Any of those do? I remember my dad used to have this sort of thing in his jackets - possibly sewn in, or with poppers, but that wouldn't work so well for lighter tops.

Before washing machines they used to hang the dresses outside the wardrobe for a few days to air them between wearings. You could do that and see if it works.
