Hi there

Can anybody tell me whether it is possible to get blue tack out of a (cream!) carpet? If so, how do I do it please?

Thanks in anticipation

I'm watching this too

I wonder if the solution, when it comes, will also apply to dried-in Play-Doh, with which we fight many battles.

I usually end up picking/cutting the bits out with nail scissors (we have a cheap Ikea rug though, not a lovely proper carpet)

i have tons of this stuck on the carpet

if i can be arsed i use the end of the hoover to sort of push it off the carpet then pick it off, takes ages but works. i then usually vax it. i hate blu tack though. removing it takes a long time.

I thought about cutting the pile out, but its a very short pile carpet so I don't think that will work. It's really ground in as it was under one of the chair leg/wheel things...

Ok this is may be worth a try. Desolv it or Stain slayer. Got lily pollen out of my carpet and crayon off my wall.

Tin says it gets rid of chewing gum. Its potent stuff and stinks but I love it.

Thank you! I will try it and report back.

Thanks - I will try the ice first. Don't fancy the oil as it's a cream carpet.

Thanks for posting.
