Cleaning a 2nd hand wooden cot...

What is the best product to clean and disinfect a second-hand wooden cot please?

I'd probably just use hot soapy water and then maybe give it a wipe over with Dettol or similar?

Is Dettol ok on wood then? Looked at Zoflora and it said not to use on wood.

I used Dettol on DSs 2nd hand wooden crib... think after warm soapy water.
