biro marks on fabric

any ideas for how to remove? I've cold washed the trench coat and the biro's still there and I have a white duvet cover with biro marks on to. wondering what to do next.

Try milk. (Although in my experience this just spread the stain)

Good old fashioned soap?

Stain Devils: liquid pre-wash soakers, buy em in hard ware stores

scrubbing with a sponge and scourer with some liquid soap has done the trick, but I have really roughed up the surface of my daughter's trench coat. Oops, hope she won't notice.

if you put a pan of milk on the hob and gently warm it while putting in the inky area the milk should run out

i've done this with a v large felt pen stain on a white top

comletely gone, it's like a magical thing
