Help! Tyre stain off PVC French doors

My dh is working in the conservatory on his bike with it turned upside down and was spinning the back wheel. I open the door and it caught the tyre leaving a dark stain on the White PVC . Have tried everything and got some of it off but a stubborn strip remains...any ideas? (have tried bleach, normal kitchen cleaners, toothpaste, baking powder...not at same time! Most success was bleach but it won't get rid of last bit)

Tesco will definitely do the Flash Eraser.

ShinyAndNew · 01/04/2010 07:16

Tesco do the JML one also, but for some reason it is around near the car stuff, opposite the mops in our local store and not with the cleaning things.

I went to Tescos this morning but didn't see it although I didn't look in the car bit as only just checked this thread as I am dozy!
Then went to Morrisons and local hardware store..no joy. Then drove to another town 20mins away and to Sainsburys..no joy..then went to Wilkinsons and there it was!

And it has worked! Wooopeeee! Not 100% perfect as the spinning tyre left a small scratch but all the major black has gone so it looks alot better

Many thanks for all your help!

LOL! I can't believe it wasn't in the first place you tried! they are everywhere here! glad you found it eventually and that it worked!
It is a good thing to have around children IME. It gets so many things off hard floors and walls!

Futurity, you were at the EA thing last year? me too!

futurity · 01/04/2010 18:17

I have been trying it out on everything this afternoon sad woman that I am . Will look to see if it is in my Tescos when I am next there as I can't be driving that distance everytime!

You should've done the Flash thing last month. It was great fun!

WD 40 might work.
