Removing paint off of tiles

Hi I was hoping some wonderful person on here might have some tips on removing paint off of wall tiles.

The people that lived in our house before us decided it would be a good idea to paint the kitchen wall tiles bright yellow.

We really need to be able to clean it off as they are a nice light grey colour underneath. But I really cannot face scraping evry single tile to get rid of the paint.

Does anyone no of any easier way we can get rid of the horrible yellow paint.

TIA

A chemical paint remover might do it. I think
you could get quite a lot of it off with 1 of those scrapers sold to scrape paint off windows.
On the other hand..
You should probably be prepared that the special tile paint they've used has damaged the surface, so even if you get all the paint off you might need to re-tile.
The best thing might be to paint over.
Good luck

thanks for ideas i dont think its special paint looks just like emulsion. i would paint over them but they have started to chip away on a few of them so it would look a right mess.
