Double sided sellotape on table

I had the bright idea a couple of months ago of fixing the plasticy tablecloth to the table with double sided tape.

And now I can't get it off - the tape that is...

Help!

Hmmm, I've just tried nail polish remover and still no luck

Can you not pick it off? Baby oil?

Been trying to pick it off - its too thin to get a handle on.

Don't have baby oil, will try olive oil!

At this rate I'm going to have to put the manky tablecloth back on!

Brillo pad and some hardcore cleaner?
