bathroom towels

Can anyone recommend good bathroom towels brands. Most of mine are thick but the water seems to sit on them and it takes me ages to dry off.

Are you using fabric softener on them? Are they 100% cotton?

Christy's are a good make, but it sounds to me like you're using fabric softener rather than the towels not being any good.
I've got towels that are ancient and threadbare, but they still dry us all well. I just try to remember to put the nice ones out if we have visitors.

are they fairly new? towels become more absorbant after a few washes.

also agree with the others - fabric softener reduces the absorbancy as it leaves a film on the fibres.

if you want soft towels without using fabric conditioner then try using white vinegar instead.
