American Fridges - HELP!!!

OMG!!!

Just about to order our swanky new American Fridge and DH did the usual measure the gap in which it will sit and as the fridges are all so massive it would stick out 13cm into the kitchen.

Those of you with this US fridges how do they fit in?

I've found one that isn't so deep but its too wide!

Can you wise Mumsnetters help? The hole is 920mm wide and 1800mm high.

They are big. Ours sits on its own.

We had a helluva job getting ours into the kitchen! It had to come in via the patio doors in the end after which it was dragged/pulled/pushed/coaxed into position by about 2-3 sweaty men on a hot, hot day.

Think it's there for life now so I hope it never breaks down!

We can get it in the house....have sweaty men on hand to push and pull...and it has a lovely set of cupboards built around its reasting place but it looks as if it will stick out so far it could ruin the look of the kitchen
