Getting milk/baby sick off carpet...

Any bright ideas/hot tips please...

Scenario is: middle of the night, baby over shoulder winding, cue urking then splatter noises. Dark, so hard to spot at the time. Most of it, it turns out, went in my slipper (mmmm. nice.) however, some hit the carpet and has left a white splat mark.

My normal vanish carpet spray doesn't seem to work - guess it might count as a fatty stain? Any solutions please as suspect it won't be the last time...

Babywipes can usually be relied on to get anything baby related out of anything.

I used to give the carpet a good scrub with a solution of bicarbonate of soda - seemed to get rid of the mark and dealt with the smell at the same time.

I just use babywipes on everything now! I can rely on them to get rid of the smell if nothing else.
