Hi I am looking into buying a Bissell Carpet cleaner to replace my awful Vax. I need it to clean up after a toddler and pets. Has anyone brought a reconditioned one from Bissell themselves or can recommend which one to get.

Any advice gratefully received

Thank

I bought a reconditioned one direct from bissell and it turned out to be 2 months old

I had a very old vax (not like the new upright ones you see now) as both my children had reflux so sicked up a lot. But then splurged on the bissell.

I will say that for general dirt removal from the carpet it is great (and scary) and for stains/spills you have to get them straight away. Mine lives next to the hoover so it is ready to fill and go should I need to clean up a spill.

Mine is a 2x pro heat thing, Easy to fill and put on, it is heavy going but easy enough.

Oh, it also depends on your carpet, I had 80/20 wool mix and it works fine, but then put down cheap polyprop carpet after ds2 was born and was refluxing. Doesn't do as well on that.

Hope this ramble helps

It does help thank you. Bissell have a special offer on the same one you have so going to get ordering. Never thought potty training would be so expensive )

Thank you
