Spinner or Tumble Dryer?

My tumble dryer has packed up & I'm wondering if it would be better to get a spin dryer to replace it?

I just can't justify spending lots of money on a dryer that uses up lots of electricity. I do have somewhere to hang up the washing inside.

Would a spin dryer help towels & bedding dry faster? or would it be a waste of money?

I gave up my tumble dryer for economic reasons in October.
I can honestly say I haven't missed it once.
Towels and bathmats dry in under a day hung over my bannisters( seems for some reason they dry best there) if I cannot hang them out.

And I do not have an overheated house by any means

i have neither but washing machine does 1400. Everything dries overnight, or on line in summer. Hanging it as high as possible is my top tip!

sorry, that should be 1600 rpm!
