Lined curtains in nursery

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'm looking for a curtains for my DDs bedroom. She's got a roller blind and thin cotton curtains which we don't close. The blind does not fit the window perfectly so the light comes in from the sides.

As it's getting lighter now, she tend to wake up earlier than usual. Not sure if it's her age (18 months) that makes her want to sleep less but I though I try to make her room darker in the mornings. So what I'm looking for is some thick or lined curtains. Something that when I close them at night will stop the light coming in from the sides of the blackout blind.

We've been to the shops today and I could not see anything in Mothercare, M&S, Bhs or Jojo Maman. Could anyone recommend me a good place for curtains (if they exist)
Looking on the Net, curtains for nurseries seems to be very thin and for decoration only.

I won't be able to make them myself as i'm' just not good at things like that.

You can buy black out linings for ordinary curtains. You dont sew them on, they just attach to the original curtains.
Try searching for black out curtains on ebay or shopping. I can guaruntee they will do them...

IIRC I bought our black out curtains from a regular curtain / linen store. I think they had lots of sizes ready made and once they had a normal curtain over them they looked fine.

Or these from Argos?

or search for "blackout curtain nursery" on google, brought up loads of stuff!

Thanks for the replies, I did not know that things like that existed.
We were shown one in mothercare today but the sales assistant did not explain it properly so we thought it would not be suitable.
Will be ordering one tonight. Thanks again!!!
