Does anyone know if you can wash soccer boots in the washing machine?

DD1 has brought home the ones she's outgrown and they're filthy. I wondered if they could be machine washed as I'd like to put them away for DD2 to wear when she's a couple of sizes larger

Definitely NOT!!! They can knock the paddles off and that will cause no end of other troubles, see the post about the machine eating clothes. I would just was them in a sink with a nail brush and then let them dry naturally.
