patch for DS's trousers

Where can I get some patches for DS's trousers? online preferably?
Holes are at the knees and the rest of the trousers are ok - seems a shame to get rid of it especially as I am expecting DS2 soon.

Can you cut the legs of the trousers off just above the knee and turn them into shorts?? Patches would look a bit silly IMO, sorry.

i think it'll be hard to match it exactly.

i've taken ds1's worst pair and cut that up to patch the rest

Actually i have found some nice iron-on patches on ebay. i got some cute ones and some simple denim patches. Will try both.
i am sure DS won't mind as he is only 15 month!
