Nemofish · 04/03/2010 14:22

This is a bit sad of me, but I had to tell someone...
I have got my Lakeland parcel this morning, it contained:

Silicone cupcake moulds (also good for mousses and jellies)

E-cloth tea towels - 3 of - hope dh won't ask how much they cost... (£5 each - shhhh)

Wheely bin cleaning contraption - my wheely bin is an offensive weapon in its own right.

Wheely bin freshening stars - ahhh rotting veg fragrance, begone!

Bathroom over door towel rack thing - no longer will our visitors have to dry their faces on our bath towels.

3 Kitchen chef knives - oooh feel the sharpness!

Lawn seed - does what it says on the pack.

Tea towel rail to hang over kitchen cupboard door - no more running the length of the kitchen with wet hands!

And an egg / omelette spatula.

I'm jealous, but only 'cause you're having a fag

FabIsDoingPrettyWell · 04/03/2010 14:52

Blinking heck! I haven't got any of those things.

I have most of what lakeland sell...

FabIsDoingPrettyWell · 04/03/2010 14:53

I do have silicon muffin cases - is that the same as what you have?

Also jealous of the smoke

Nemofish · 05/03/2010 21:01

The fag was only virtual, I gave up 5 years ago!

Fab yes I think so. Going to try them out this weekend, going to do fairy cakes! Oh and I suppose the kids can help if they must..

The biggest surprise has been dh's appreciation and indeed, compliments on every product. I think he must be getting old and domesticated!

Ooh Lakeland porn, lovely

What do you think of the e-cloth t-towels? Are they as great as they claim?

I also have most of what Lakeland sell but have nothing on your list!

Nemofish · 06/03/2010 08:47

Alibaba I love them. I have always had cheap and cheerful before, but these ones get things really dry, really fast. My only moan is that the microfibre can feel funny on my hands, but I need to moisturise them more really.

I am considering ordering again as I want more forgot some stuff...

Lakeland are just fantastic. Never knew about them until I came to MN.

Never knew they did garden supplies before this thread. I only usually go to the shop in town that just does cookwear. Their plant seeds and some other things look a lot cheaper than my local garden centre.

I am going to have a bit of peruse of their catalogue now.
