Vacuum storage bags

From desperately-trying-to-save-space Mum: Hello, can anybody recommend a vacuum storage bag that really works? Have bought 2 different types from ebay but both bags deflated within a matter of hours, how disappointing!Thank you.

I used some JML two weeks ago and they still seem vacuum packed. The first time I used one it did deflated very quickly, but I found out I hadn't actually sealed it properly.. oops!

I bought some from John Lewis a few years ago and they worked perfectly. They weren't expensive either. In those days they were with the shoe polish etc next to the kitchenware.

I bought some really big ones from Argos when they were in the sale and they work very well.
