Good morning all.

As things on these threads seem relatively quiet, would it be a good idea to have a weekly thread instead of daily, maybe??

Here is todays mission

And here is my list...
To do:
make tea loaf
put away shopping
washing into machine/on line/put away
swish and swipe
dishwasher
hoover
mission.

I hope all are well. Sorry for lack of personal replies, it is one step too far for me at the moment.

I did read yesterdays thread, though.

DD1 also got into the (Only) school I had requested, but not really a surprise. It is not a great school, and is undersubscribed, but we live very close to it, and it is undergoing huge changes at the moment, so I'm crossing everything that we've made the right decision.

Good idea re: thread, Jas.
Will miss the witty titles though and reminder as to what day of week it is

Jas · 03/03/2010 10:12

I now have the added motivation of my friends and their children coming round after lunch.....We usually go to someone elses but we are relocating here today due to illness.
There could just be two of us.....or 6. plus kids. Best be prepared.

X posts. You don't get witty titles if I'm the first on any way
But I know what you mean about the day of the week reminder. It is the curse of being a sahm (although I've always had that problem due to working shifts)

morning Jas, thanks for thread. good idea for less new threads, we are very quiet at the mo. hope everyone is ok.

dd had a much better night, I was keeping her home today but she got herself ready for nursery . so i took her in and told them slightest prob to phone me.
also popped back to garage as car was making a strange rattly noise, a bolt was loose but all sorted now.
boiler parts are finally in stock, and am a 12-5 call out, am hoping they come earlier rather than the later bracket but am not holding my breath! am working from home today so if you find me on here kick me off (unless its lunchtime). I am useless at working from home I get distracted far too easily

done today
dc to school/ nursery
wash up
car to garage
tidy
mive everything off shelves under boiler
s&s bathroom
make beds
quick tidy of ds room
collect prescriptions

to do
finish application forms- only on eleft to go
post application forms
rubbish out
uni work
collect dc

Jas Thanks for the thread.

dylsmum So pleased that your ds got the school you wanted!

Big wave to swan and everyone else and welcome to Boo.

I have to stay in again today as one of the couriers that didn't come yesterday is coming today. Trouble is, I'm due to have lunch with friends later and I might not be able to go unless a neighbour is going to be in and can hand it over for me.

Today I want to:-
~ select birthday cards from my b/d card box for the trillions of family and friends who have b/ds in March
~ do some of my Treasurer stuff
~ finish completing ds' form
~ get on with some ironing

That'll do for now.

Morning all

Am revising but having two minutes rest as my brain is turning to mush.

Good idea re thread. I do like a daily one but having one weekly wouldn't really be much different I guess and would make sense. Good idea Jas

Jobs to do today

  • Clean kitchen again - Another meeting for me last night and yet again DH left the kitchen in a mess
  • Revise, revise, revise for exam tonight. At the moment this is me -->
  • Leg exercises and Ice leg
  • Quick tidy around as in-laws are coming to look after DD whilst I am at exam and DH at meeting.

evening All

a monumentally S*it day was had by all in the wolf house

done - sweet fa, house is complete tip

on plus side ds's passport arrived and I prepped most of tonight's tea last night until I discovered the absence of a crucial ingredient.

Really need to remember to get a school application form for ds

Wolfcub · 03/03/2010 19:02

I recommend this thread for cheering people up I am now crying with hysterical laughter

Starbear · 03/03/2010 20:29

Hello just popped in. The internet is taking forever tonight.
Today made me really look forward to my new job and wearing nice women's clothes. Very boring and loads of other naff stuff.
Wolf Sorry you had a bad day. It does get like that! You can do the application online how (I think its all over Britain.) Go to the council website. Hope that helps
Can't look at thread but will later when system speeds up.
Swan I have no will power at all anymore!
Have a good night everyone
