Dishwasher cleaner in rinse aid compartment - what should I do?

I put dishwasher cleaner in the rinse aid compartment by mistake. Have used paper towels and a pipette to get out some of it. Have also run an empty cycle. Any tips on what I should do next? TIA

if you have an empty fairy liquid bottle or suchlike, maybe you could fill it with clean water and squirt forcefully into the rinseaid compartment to blast the stuff out!
