Crayon on wallpaper

I just wallpapered my DDs bedroom (first time I've ever tried it) and less than 2 weeks later she has coloured in one of the hearts on her wallpaper with thick green crayon!

I can't bare to look at it! I don't have enough wallpaper left to re-paper that length but it was labeled as "washable" wallpaper so I'm hoping that it's salvageable

Has this ever happened to anyone out there? Please, any tips are greatly appreciated, thanks.

Try rubbing gently with a damp cloth sprinkled with baking soda and it should come off. (got that from another tips website).

i just got crayon off a painted wall with a microfibre cloth, don't worry i'm sure it'll be fine.

I have got crayon off wallpaper fairly successfully by rubbing it with white bread.

this got things clean when DS1 decided the kitchen wall needed cheering up with some crayon art!

Furniture polish works on painted walls. Not sure about wallpaper.

WD40 is supposed to work with crayons
