Not dyson and we are pretty skint and it hasto be stored in a smallish cupboard. Also I want an attachment as my ds gets crumbs down the sofa and I aslo want to be able to deal with cobwebs high up etc, and corners. Oh - the whole thing actually!

Our upright is about to give up so I;m on the hunt for a new one.

We have laminate and marble floors but it needs to do rugs well as we are on a ground floor flat.

Any recommendations gratefully appreciated and then I'll start googling!

many thanks

Hello!

We've noticed this thread is quite old and some of the product recommendations are a little out of date. After weeks of trawling the Talk boards, talking to parents and researching bestsellers, here are our trusted reviews to help you find the best small vacuum cleaner on the market.

Hope this helps! Flowers

I love my Henry, and he fits into a fairly small space - he was about £70 at Makro.

Is that the smiley one? Must husband bought one home from work for me to borrow when I was doing my last big clean - is it more compact than an upright though as I found it really difficult to trail around - oh - should say we live in a small flat - lots of small rooms.

Aw cheers - I'm googling miele as we speak.

I'm gonna see how much floor space we have - like the cylinder but think an upright will be easier for me to store.

many thanks all
