Hi girls

Had a nice day so far, DH is still at it, now taking up floorboards.
Children playing shops.

I am just so lacking in get up and go these last few days! Little things which I should be able to brush off, I can't! I'm putting it down to tiredness.

Well, better go and buy some plastic food!!
Where's OFM, haven't seen her for a few days?

Night all and BB tomorrow.

AGree you should put sheet under the waterproof sheet on the bed so that you can stip top layer and shove child back in bed asap.

swanriver · 28/02/2010 16:24

mine are playing cops and robbers with two friends, and have already taken apart a badminton net to make lethal weapons

ds1 is meant to be learning how to cook for Cubs Masterchef, but refuses, so I am left trying out cinnamon buns for the first time -

Done
church
delicious lunch
singng practice
read some of my new book
argued briefly with dh and made up, dd is exhausting again, but she has now tidied her room which has made her feel much better Dh says I must have been just like her and driven my mum mad.

swanriver · 28/02/2010 19:17

Afternoon has gone very well, but now feeling a bit like I've been through the washer - DH fed up with me, I'm fed up with him, snarky comments back and forward

supper eaten (more delicious food)
playdates departed
supper washed up
dw unloaded

absolute feeling of dread about next week, not sure why,
need to go and put clothes out for tomorrow to calm my nerves
and then put dcs to bed as per usual

Starbear · 28/02/2010 19:22

Now you tell me! I've just made the bed up I'll do the extra sheet tomorrow. Swan Apparently it could be down to small bladder and we are working on making it bigger with lots of fluid but nothing 1 hour before bed (except a sip or two if thirsty) Maybe he needs 1 half hours. He was in drynites but maybe his willy was poking out or somthing! Apparently lifting won't train his bladder just sometimes save the sheets!
Went out with out the boys brought some Jeggings from Uniqlo. Haven't tried them out yet! I have boots and long jumper dress ready to wear with them.
Only thing left to do tidy kitchen and watch larkrise to Candleford. Will get DH to help
Have a nice evening

EVye · 28/02/2010 19:25

Starbear - dont loft him as it wont help him in the long run. What about putting a potty in his rooom? We cut out drinks from 6pm when training dd1 at night time.

Starbear · 28/02/2010 19:43

Thank you Evye. The loo is only 3 feet away. If I left a potty in there I'll only kick it I know I will. In a little while we will leave a light on in the hall so he can go to the loo. The only thing stopping me is that the light will bother me. I'm a poor sleeper & hate light. But the needs of my Little bear must come first.

Morning all

What does Flying mean?

Should be "working from home" but cannot tear myself away from these darned posts!

xx

Starbear · 02/03/2010 19:27

Are you still interested? Or have you finished working from home for the day.
Fly is thiswww.flylady.net/index.aspflylady
It's a method of getting your household chores sorted so you can get on with other things in life. I personally don't manage it but making a list with other people everyday makes the chores a tiny bit competive with yourself and sharing the highs & lows of the day. Those that seem to post are SAHM,Part-time working outside the home mums and some working flat out mums. (don't know any posters that are male!
