Cleaner - reasonable hourly rate

Hi

I am in process of recruiting a cleaner and am really struggling to find one! We live in fairly remote area and have had no success in finding one locally. Nearest town 12 miles away and they have quoted me 4 hrs a week @ £12 an hour. The no of hours is prob fairly accurate as house is quite large...which is why I struggle to keep it clean!
They provide all their own cleaning products/vaccum etc and will tidy as well as clean. Fully insured and will substitute diff cleaner during hols etc.
I'd be interested to know how this hourly rate compares to your cleaner?

Thanks

Sounds reasonable as they will be driving quite a distance plus supplying their own equipment and be prepared to tidy.

My lady charges £15 for the first hour and £10 per hour thereafter, she doesn't tidy, she uses my equipment and products and has 2 tea breaks in 3 hours.
