Can somebody please answer a quick question about vertical blinds?

You know those naff office type ones. We are planning to buy some vertical blinds tomorrow for the living room (might be able to open curtains then but thats a whole other thread) We can't get them in the drop we need so will have to trim them to size.

I was just reading reviews of the blinds on Argos website and people where saying that if you have to trim the slats to size you then have to re-sew the edges of them. Is this right or if you trim them from the top can you avoid having to re-sew the edges?

Hope that made some kind of sense?!

Oh no, I may have missed your shopping trip. You can order them on-line made to measure for about the same price as the Argos ones! Crazy but true in my Mum's case.

It would save trimming to fit as the Argos ones and if you have a large window, that is a lot of blind trimming and the header rail may need to be trimmed too.

We ordered some for my Mum from blinds247 as they could get them delivered the next day if you paid a premium I think it was £8 extra but well worth it.

If you have time you can order sample and see the quality.
