Got a round cake tin and some muffin tins.

Planning on doing a fruit cake and some muffins. Do I need to grease or oil the silcone tins..if so how?

No, you don't need to grease silicon tins.. they are greasy-proof.

i put a pre-cut liner in the cake pan, don't bother with anything on the muffin pans unless it is quite a dry recipe like choc fondants. don't forget to stand them on a baking sheet or your mix will fall out.
