Glue Removal

Please help! How can I remove glue (UHU) from an acrylic jumper? Its not an expensive one but I've only worn it twice, I've washed the jumper thinking the heat would melt the glue - it didn't!

I got some on my carpet and nail varnish remover removed it.

Put the jumper into the freezer for a couple of hours. Take it out and then pick the frozen glue off. It comes off very easily

Thanks so much, I'll have a go - now I've got another dilema - which should I try first!!
