Hi guys

OP posts:

ruby gosh that is so sad...puts things in perspective, makes my moans seem very trivial.

swan hope your back is improving

DS1 in totally terrible mood,
random health visitor turned up doorstep waving a letter and saying she was looking for "J....G...." Initially puzzled I began to say that, no there was no-one of that name here...then realised it was my Nephew who came to stay with DH sister and Mum in Nov. He had had really bad toothache so she had taken him to out of hours dr to get antibiotics....paper work eventually made it's way to HV, and they turned up on doorstep all guns blazing cause he wasn't registered with them or a GP.....
I REALLY can't stand health visitors...
Anyway situation descended into farce like drama as I was already looking frazzled whilst trying to prepare roast dinner and tomorrows lunches whilst simultaneously rebooting laundry then youngest 3 of my DC appeared in background in various stages of undress and bizzarre dressing up costumes, DD4 sliding down the stairs with DS2 on her lap shouting "can someone open the gate, my hands are full of child" LOL LOL LOL
Well the old bag of a HV looked quite shocked and said "what about THESE,are these all registered"with a look of contempt. HOW RUDE can you get!
anyway I soon got rid of her, and had a little giggle to myself....interfereing bag!
Did seem like a scene out of Cheaper By the Dozen actually LOL

Anyway dinner done, and cleared
Very trying DS1 despatched to Fencing
Lunches and numerous snacks packed up for tomorrow
Located where I need to go tomorrow on map...have vague idea how to get there!
Clothes all ready for tomorrow
homework done
littlies bathed

now going to chill...then early night.

Oh and DH has managed to wangle it so he can collect dc on Thurs...phew

swan yes, reciprocal playdates woul have been good idea, but like youI would probably not have been brave enough!

ruby yes, indeed. the empathy makes us feel so sad...indeed shows compassion, and caring.

OFM bizarre though it is, nice to know HV do check something - though I dread to think what any professional soul would think of this household at some points in day (at others of course we are a shining example

very glad that dh has solved pickup problem for you, hope tomorrow goes well - I'm sure it is good for the assessors to see siblings as part of mix.

Went to see "Up in the Air" with Clooney" with my cousin. I am still pondering it. Not a rom-com but v. funny/satirical.
Poor dh had a difficult time putting dcs to bed for some reason - it is really is getting worse and worse going out and leaving them, they hate having routine tampered with in any form, even if dh is there instead of me - and he does most of putting to bed anyway, I just read dd her story and the washingup...ho hum.

Did most of what I wanted today, and only got a bit ratty at 5.30 so
