washer dryer or keep visiting laundrette?

There really is no room for a separate dryer.
Washing machine is 13yrs old and got it second hand for £100. so now would like to get nice new one - but ....
should we get a dryer, or carry on visiting driers at laundrette? in the hope we'll move somewhere big enough for a sep drier in a couple of years?

Unless you like your regular trips to the laundrette I would say try to get dryer. Having clothes dried without hassle esp in winter is priceless.

I bought a washer dryer about a month ago and I absolutely love it. Have no idea how I managed without and I had a separate dryer before. Was rubbish compared to this. To be able to put a load of washing on overnight and come downstairs in the morning to it dry is the best feeling. No more of that 'got nothing to wear to work' nonsense. It also does a ready to wear cycle in 60 minutes.

I don't intend to use the dryer much when the weather warms up but over the crappy winter months it's fab.

Which model is it? I had heard that they weren't very good at drying, hence the hesitation. We'll spend twice as much and then still end up down the laundrette anyway.
