Plasma TV

My TV is on its way out and am thinking of buying a plasma TV. Unfortunately though I have not got the room to put one on the wall. I have 17-month old twins and am afraid of them pulling the TV down. Has anyone experienced this problem or is it likely that this could happen?
Thanks for any replies.

I have a LCD TV and it has a base on it, which has holes so you can screw the TV to whatever it is standing on. Obviously this means you have to be willing to drill holes into a piece of furniture. I think a lot of flat screens have something similar, because it is a concern as they are easier to tip over than older TVs.

If you go into a shop and voice your concerns they should be able to help you find something suitable.

Also, if you don't have enough flat wall space, there is always the option for a corner bracket, but I think they can be a bit expensive.
