good, reliable cleaner, stockport area??

thinking of getting a short term cleaner while my baby is young and wondered how much it is and if there are any recommendations? don't really want to go to an agency, but don't really know anyone with a cleaner to get info from. thanks.

Hi Tigerlily1. I know you said that you don;t want to use an agency but I thought I'd tell you about the one that I use in Bristol as I know they have a branch on Stockport. I get my cleaner through Time For You Domestic Cleaning in Bristol and they have been brilliant. We pay Time For You a fee for managing finding the cleaner and I think it covers insurance too and then we pay the cleaner another fee on a weekly basis. Website is www.timeforyou.co.uk . I got great comfort from the fact that they interview the cleaners in the cleaners home and so can check out exactly what state the cleaner lives in! and they also confirm identity and reference them too. If my cleaner is on holiday then they provide another cleaner. Have to say for me when I had my little one they were a godsend...so much so that I've kept using their service ...was supposed to be for 3 months and now am still using them 2 years later!
