My dd is mad for painting, colouring, sticking etc. We currently keep most of her supplies in a kitchen drawer + a basket under my desk, now though it seems to be spreading.
Has anyone got a smart but capacious solution? It would need to fit under my desk, so no taller than 65cm.
Any ideas greatfuly received

I saw something suggested on the Kids page in the Telegraph last Saturday - I was going to order it myself - but now cant find the magazine or the info on the Telegraph website.
You might have more luck than me if you do a search.
It was a kind of drawer unit where you could store eg pens/paper/paints etc.
Sorry thats not much help!

I use some cheap drawers from ikea. I hate art/craft equipment it grows constantly to exceed available capacity.

We've got the same problem. My boys do get through felt-tips pretty quickly but colouring pencils go on for years. The thing is they are still using my colouring pencils from when I was a child - I've got 2 big packs of those. Then they have been given so many packs of pencils, then for Christmas they were each given a suitcase than opens up to reveal colouring pencils, crayons, felt tips, paints etc - they are absolutely fantastic, but they do have a ridiculous amount of artists materials. Everyone has been so generous, but I honestly don't know where to put it all. They are barely 7 and 5 and they've got a lifetimes worth of gear!!

Dd uses a plastic autolatch toolbox from B&Q. It has lots of seperate trays/compartments and was only about £10 if I remember correctly.

we have this

big enough for a4 pads/craft sets to stack and then to store stuff behind in each drawer,

drawers deep enough to put crayons/pencils in mugs/custard powder tubs and stand up.

sparkles/beads and transfers etc go in little stackable see thru boxes from the poundshop.

anything duplicated and around half of the xmas craft sets go in the "us later" box in the loft...nobody needs 5 purple crayons and dd can't see what's in there if there is too much stuff
