Evening all Home late from work Going to have to go to work tomorrow to be able to write out my application Various hoops jumped will have to be proved. No speare time at all this week. Cheesed off that I can't have my normal Friday. Well it should be for the future good.

Hello to all. Sorry I've not been around much for ages. I'm having a big declutter so I've just been lurking quietly now and again whilst having a cup of tea and a quick break. I think I'll keep on lurking and maybe saying a quick hello only as I want to get lots done and I need to have the spare bedroom ready for MIL coming to stay for a few days next week.

It's good to "see" so many familiar names and some new ones, too!

Thank you Wolf Watched a programme about womens libration in the 70's the other day.
It reminded me that I have so much to be grateful for. Just the fact I picked my man (dad tried to fix an arranged marriage) That I could wait until the right man came along. That dad suggested when I was thirty that I could go out just get preganant and he & Mum would look after the baby He turned into a great feminist in 15 years. That if I did suffer domestic violence there is help out there. That I could earn my own cash & do not have to ask for housekeeping. BUT....
when I'm not reminded I just want to stay at home and make cakes & biscuits, make beds and do my missions Nutty me!!!

Wedding is May 14th. Dress with have pewter embroidery on the bust, down the edges of the sort of coat bit and coming up in a triangle at the front and back. It makes me look like I actually have a figure rather than just being square!
Sleep well. I am avoiding going to bed because I am fed up of either not sleeping or having nightmares about work.

Wolf maybe we should go out on an all nighter, not keen on the thought of binge drinking making me quesy just thinking about it. But a night on the town being silly then there won't be room for nightmares..
Love the iodea of pewter embroidery. I'm going to write the date on a post-it by the computer so I don't forget.
