Can you recommend me some kitchen scales?

They need to be compact, as low on storage space. Not sure on a budget yet..

I need to buy some, and just wanted to know if any of you have any, that you are really pleased with?
Thank you

salter make lovely flat stainless steel compact, stylish ones. I have these and have had them for 5 yrs and am still happy with them:

We got ours from John Lewis

Seconded! They are great, can use in either lb or g Nd can easily set them to zero with whatever bowl/plate/jug you are weighing into.

Personally I preferred mechanical scales and am v. happy with these. When not in use the bowl turns upside down over the top of the scales base. Can be used for liquids (water based) as well. Add and weigh facility.
