Morning ladies

Boys were up a silly o'clock, so I am tired, but I have done:

Polished upstairs
made 3 beds
got us dressed, fed and school
Played with DS2 on marble run
washer on
DS2 spilt his milk all over rug and throw in sitting room - arggg

To do

Toddlers
Lunch
Preschool drop off
More washing, drying, ironing
Out ironing away
2 e-mails
post office
Whats for lunch
Swimming bag for DS2

Oh a nd loads more too tedious to mention

swanriver · 19/01/2010 10:46

Hi thanks for thread Grouchy

Done
bleughed upstairs
rang about AA about car battery, Renault about service and MOT, booked in for Thursday (couldhave done yest if it wasn't for the blooming CRB forms and physio appt - could have done on Sat if it wasn't for the catechism, the music and the husband, could have done on Friday if it wasnt for library, could have done last Thursday if it wasn't for the housework...excuses excuses...now it is done - just have to cancel Thursday library duty

now need to get dd back to school despite her cricked shoulder,
take ds out for exercise instead of doing PE,
and cook Irish stew for supper
and do piano practise

well TM, better tedium than confusion

ooh love that mission
going to throw away ALL the socks except the red ones, hate them all and none of them match

EVye · 19/01/2010 11:05

Hello all. Been out sinc school drop off but back now and have friend coming over in a few mins. Have whizzed around and hoover and cleared kitchen so she doesnt think she'll get salmonella when I make lunch.

Must get back on to fly bandwagon, although my house isnt really that bad. Just lots of piles of stuff which have accumulated sine Christmas.

Wolfcub · 19/01/2010 12:59

urgh hello all I am having my second super-crappy day in a row. Finally managed to fall asleep last night after two weeks of shocking insomnia and then ds got me up at 4am sob. I now have bad back and shoulder as he decided to fall asleep on my back.

Work is pants with a capital P. When I go home tonight I will be having a large glass of wine with my roast chicken.

done
wm unloaded reloaded and on
kitchen and living room quick tidy
dry washing folded

Have a good day everyone
bbl

grouchyoscar · 19/01/2010 13:04

Grocy Hope you get on top of the meds soon

Been to mums and toddlers
Dropped DS2 at preschool

Still so much to do, but no motications at all

OverflowingMum · 19/01/2010 13:45

afternoon all

wolf sorry youre' feeling rubbish and about work. Enjoy the wine

go thanks fopr thread

TM boo for early start, wounds like your doing well though

Swan well done sorting car...I hate those sort of things that get put off for ever

EV enjoy friends visit

well I am feeling just a bit bleugh today...not sure why exactly
Have been to get dd PE pumps and not done much else so far today..

Have started filling in on-line job application - stressing me out, both the application and the whole return to work prospect....

Now going ot have cuppa and look at some budgeting figures and do some serious soul searching to decide if return to wotk right now is absolutely necessary and/or advisable, or will stress of 6 DC AND a job tip me over the edge??? Can we muddle on for 3 more years being permenantly somewhat skint, till DS2 goes to school, or nursery at least I wonder???? Then would at least avoid lots of childcare juggling/guilt/expense etc....
Then again finances really stressful right now, easing that would be a huge weight of my mind....could afford more for DC, make life easier, happier maybe? maybe not if I'm stressed out though???
Ho hum...
Off to ponder the meaning of life

I have been posting on the other thread thinking I had killed it!!!

TeaMonster · 19/01/2010 15:36

I have made the table mats set the table mats

scattyspice · 19/01/2010 16:11

Hi all.

Very busy at work again (the hosp is bursting at the seams!).

wolf sorry you're stressed.

OFM What does dh think? If you go back to work he will need to help with some of the things you do now, or accept that they won't get done.

Hi everyone else.

Quick turnaround as gymnastics tonight.

To do:
feed dc
get dc ready for gymnastics
take to gymnastics
buy duvet and food
wash up
make sandwiches
laundry
post cheque
tel Dad.

swanriver · 19/01/2010 16:58

OFM - to me the real hell would be trying to get myself and the dcs out of the house every morning, and leaving everything ready for evening [hats off to you Scatty and Wolf - I know you do that already]
On the other hand as Scatty said once, no toddlers in house, less mess to clear up when you return.
You also might find it enjoyable doing the actual work - a sort of antidote to the trials and tribulations of homelife where one's efforts are often less appreciated [harrumph] Filling in forms is so stressful that it puts ME off doing the actual thing itself which I am perfectly good at..you are probably the same.

TODAY
done
put passport and id forms BACK in right part of filing system
made Irish stew
painting on her easel with dd
bedrooms tidyish; hoovered and made beds
tidied playroom
singing with dd
fling bogie thing with handbag
found 3 guardian posters for dd's walls
took ds1 and dd to park at 1.00 for exercise
then took all three to same park at 3.20 for more exercise

given up pc parenting practises, now they are watching telly as dd managed to trip up again on way home but I think her cricked neck is cured

TO DO
homework
tidy kitchen again [paint everywhere]
piano

Grouchy - I think you are allowed to rest sometimes, really you are. I kept feeling vaguely guilty today about something or other, and then I just thought sod that, this is my house and I am allowed to relax in it. So there.

swanriver · 19/01/2010 17:02

(sorry Ruby - know you leave house at crack of dawn with everything ready too, actually probably everyone does....
bb tommorrow

swanriver · 19/01/2010 17:11

OFM - just had one more thought. Hope I am not speaking out of turn.
Do you think your parents/sis are contributing to your feeling anti-work, are they sort of pressurizing/harassing you, which is making you feel it is not your decision, when it might have otherwise been something you quite wanted to do? You can go back because YOU want to, not just because they tell you to.

Evening all

Ruby I feel your pain, Maxi is choosing to be selective in his hearing at the moment, he screamed for 40 mins last night as he was put to bed.

OFM you can only try, if that is what you need to do.

I am tired, DS1 has been swimming, I babysat little 15 month old with DS2.

DH is in a very bad mood, as we have no money
