We bought what was a beautiful white rug from Cargo. It is wool and looks a bit like small white balls all joined together. Despite the fact that it is hoovered regularly and we dont wear shoes indoors it is filthy. If you look closely at it there is dirt ingrained between each loops which simply doesnt come up with the hoover. I guess what it probably needs is hanging on the washing line and a good beating but it is far too big and heavy to do that to.
Does anyone have a similar rug and fair better than we have done with it and if so, how. Can you recommend steam cleaning, a certain vacumn we could hire or anything else. Am desperate. I love it but am almost at the stage that it has to go because it is so unhygeneic
