Why won't my gas oven light?

Our old shitty oven broke, the ignition was always a bit temperamental, sometimes would go out. Just before christmas it stopped working. It lights the flame when you hold the thermostat in, then when released, it goes out, even when held in for a while.

So, we decided to get rid of it, finally. As we are broke due to christmas, ML etc we bought a 4mth old one from ebay, a rental house, tenant had their own. Nothing wrong with it, only a single oven, but an indesit so ok make.

The same problem. Only now, the gas supply to all the rings is shit too.

Is it our gas supply then? Did we just through away a crusty looking but perfectly working oven . We shall call our plumber (corgi registered) but obviously he will charge to come out, so if we don't need him then we won't get him out.

I Am Fed Up. Everything seems to be going wrong.

DH called our plumber. He says its the oven. He says he cannot explain why it has occured in both ovens, says it could just be coincidence, but i don't beleive in those. Anyway, that is what he thinks, and he said he will come and look at it for us, but not til next week.

So now, we have no oven, down £50 and the rings are taking forever to cook on too. And now. I have lost my appetite.

I have emailed the person from ebay asking for refund/take the stinking thing away.
