Scallywag High Sleeper

Has anyone got the scallywag high sleeper. I know someone is selling one less than a year old and I am really tempted.

It only has the desk underneath but I am a little unsure.

Will I regret it, both boys have big bedrooms so it isnt to save space although to see some nice clean floor would be lovely.

Is it something they get sick off getting up and down.

Also ds1 has just got a tv to play dvds in his room will he be able to see the tv ok from up there??

Thanks

ds1 has a high sleeper and making the bed is a total nightmare! You bang your head on the ceiling when you lift up the corners of the mattress to put the sheet on. So I don't know how old your ds is but my advice would be leave it till he's old enough to make his own bed!

We have two sons and a couple of years ago bought them high sleeper beds. Lasted a few weeks than they had to go. I couldn't read them stories at night time. They kept banging their heads on the ceiling. I was worried sick that they'd break their necks falling out in the night or hanging themselves in caught clothing. How on earth where they to get to the loo safely in the dark? I couldn't check is they were ill or too hot in the night and worst of all I couldn't kiss them goodnight while they were sleeping. Changed them for wooden beds with three drawers underneath, one of which pulls out into a side table from Debenhams. Making the bed is also a nightmare. Designed by men I think.
